Grand Canvas privacy policy
Grand Canvas is a party drawing game made by Whose?Games (Lakshay Baijal). This page explains what the game stores and why. Last updated 17 September 2026.
What the game stores
- A nickname you choose. It is shown to other players.
- A random player id created on your phone, so your trophies and rank stay with you.
- Your Google account id and profile picture, only if you choose to sign in with Google. The id is used to keep your trophies when you change phones. The picture is shown next to your name to the other players, in the lobby and on the leaderboard, in place of the first letter of your nickname. We also keep the email address of that Google account, used for one thing only: to find your account when you write to us about a Grand Pass (a lost purchase, a giveaway). It is never shown to other players or shared. We do not receive your password, contacts, or anything else from your Google account. Signing out of Google in the game removes the picture and the address.
- Your Grand Pass purchase, if you buy it: the purchase token Google Play issues, kept so we can confirm the purchase with Google Play, keep the pass on your account across phones, and honour refunds. We never see your card or payment details; those stay with Google Play.
- Drawings and titles you make in the game, with the prompt they were drawn for. Drawings from party games are kept for up to 180 days and then deleted. Drawings you enter in the Daily are shown to other players who took part that day, kept for 30 days, and the three most-hearted of each day are kept in the Hall of Fame with your nickname.
- Hearts you give to Daily drawings.
Advertising
The free version of the game shows a small banner advertisement on its menu screens, and offers an optional video advertisement that unlocks extra colours for a day. These are served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to choose ads and to measure them. You can reset or delete this ID in your phone's settings, and you can opt out of personalised ads there too. Buying the Pass removes all advertising from the game. Google's own privacy policy applies to the ads it serves: policies.google.com/privacy.
Purchases
The Pass is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. We never see your payment details; Google Play handles the payment and keeps the record of what you own, which is how the Pass follows you to a new phone.
What the game does not do
- No trackers beyond the ad network above, and no ads during a round.
- No selling or sharing of your information with anyone.
- No location, contacts, camera, or microphone access.
Notifications
If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a notification on your phone. Nothing is sent to us to do this, and you can turn it off in the app or in your phone's settings.
Deleting your data
Email lakshaybaijal@gmail.com with your nickname and we will delete your account and drawings.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
